Man Receives Holy Ghost on Sick Bed

We are giving God praise for filling Bro. Wilbur Roper with the Baptism of the Holy Ghost on Sunday, September 30, 2007. Bro. Roper has been involved with Home Bible Study this year. He was recently diagnosed with lung cancer with only a few months to live.

Bro. Roper was baptized but had not received the Holy Ghost. We are rejoicing with him today because he was wonderfully filled with the Spirit of God evidenced by speaking in tongues according to Acts chapters 2, 8, 10, and 19. God is still pouring out His Spirit today!! He told me when he tried to praise God and thank him it wasn't English that came out. He said, "it sounded strange".

We are believing for complete healing but that is in God's hand. Either way Bro. Roper wins. He is now on his way to Heaven. Ready to hear God say "Well done thou good and faithful servant". This is truly an 11th hour miracle. So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen. (Mat 20:16 KJV)
